John Lennon's Death: The UFO Connection

JOHN LENNON'S DEATH:
The UFO Connection

by Bill Knell

Most people who grew up in the 1960s-1970s know who John Lennon was and how he died. Lennon was shot and killed by Mark David Chapman on December 8, 1980, outside The Dakota apartment building where he lived in New York City. When Lennon and his wife, Yoko Ono, returned from a recording session, ex-fan Chapman shot him multiple times in the back. Lennon died on the way to the hospital, and Chapman, who had asked Lennon for an autograph earlier that day, was arrested at the scene. He later pleaded guilty to the murder and is currently incarcerated at New York's Green Haven Correctional Facility. He is serving a sentence of 20 years to life, having been denied parole multiple times, most recently in September 2025, with his next review scheduled for February 2027. He is held in protective custody due to the nature of his crime, continues to express remorse, and Yoko Ono has consistently opposed his release.

Chapman was a disturbed and self absorbed religionist who worked as a low paid Security Guard. He became a huge fan of The Beatles: Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr and John Lennon (as seen below).

The band became instant rockstars when they travelled to America for concerts and an appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show (a hugely popular, weekly variety TV show seen coast to coast LIVE on Sunday nights on the CBS TV network).

In March 1966, John Lennon remarked that the Beatles were "more popular than Jesus," arguing that Christianity was declining while rock 'n' roll was thriving. The comment caused massive U.S. protests and record burnings. Lennon later apologized, explaining it was a commentary on their influence rather than a direct comparison. Lennon's statement, in Chapman's mind, sent him into a flurry of confusion and caused him to believe that he needed to kill Lennon. Then, he would use his own popularity from doing so to make people look and listen to him.

On August 23, 1974, John Lennon reported seeing a UFO from his New York City apartment balcony. He described it as a silent, slow-moving object with white and red lights.

Witnessed alongside May Pang, the incident occurred around 9 p.m. Lennon later documented the event in his Walls and Bridges album linernotes.

It became obvious to everyone who knew Lennon that his sighting opened up a whole new world of interest for him. He quickly became obsessed with UFOs and Aliens and began telling everyone about his experience. Just days after the sighting, John described it during a radio interview he did in which provided all the details:

He said that the sighting took place on August 23, 1974, around 9:00 PM, from the outdoor patio of his apartment on East 52nd Street in New York City. Lennon described it as a disc-shaped object that was "not a hallucination, aircraft, or light trick". It featured a brilliant red light on top and white lights around the rim.

The object glided silently and hovered, roughly 17 stories above the street level, according to May Pang (Lennon's girlfriend at the time). Lennon yelled for Pang in panic and she saw it too. After they could not see it anymore, they called friends and reporters to inform them. May later said they were shocked and excited by the experience.

John Lennon's relationship with the US Government was less than friendly during the 1970s. They had tried to deport him back to England ever since his statement about God. The reason wasn't so much what he said, but the power with which he said it. People reacted to him. The last thing they needed was a young and wildly popular orator like Lennon stirring up the angry and already rebellious youth and older citizens tired of all the obvious government lies, wars and secrecy about UFOs and other matters.

John Lennon knew many influential people. One was magician Uri Geller (born December 20, 1946). Hr is a world famous Israeli-British illusionist and self-proclaimed psychic who is most famous for his signature feat of spoon bending using what he describes as "mind power". Putting him together with someone like Gellar could easily convince anyone of anything making people do what they wanted you to do.

Just consider all the noteworthy people with large followings killed in the 1960s and 1970s who stood up against anyone that tried to upset the government status quo. JFK, RFK. Dr King and others. Some were shot, like president Ronald Reagan and former governor George Wallace, but didn't die and the attacks have not stopped. These people already had large followings. Those that could not be used to kill murdered those that did.

All or most of these attacks and assassinations were accomplished by people who were easy to manipulate and available to the government through their jobs, education (or in other ways) for Brain Washing (a translation of the Chinese term xǐnǎo (洗腦), literally "wash brain"). The term was originally used by Chinese intellectuals to mean "modernizing" one's thinking, but was later applied to the “coercive persuasion” methods used by Chairman Mao's government to produce spies, thugs and assassins. The Americans gladly adopted these methods as tools to use on their own and by others for them.

Consider the recent assassination of Charlie Kirk, allegedly carried out by Tyler James Robinson. It always seems like someone with a lot of motivation, and not a lot of brains, was chosen for these jobs. Someone like Chapman or Robinson could have easily been brainwashed, already having mental issues and a poor record of personal accomplishments and successes. At some point they desire attention they cannot get in legitimate ways and bow down to the lust they have for fame no matter how they get it.
