Shuttle Launches From Vandenberg Reveal America's Secret Space Program, and CIA Exposes Russians verses Aliens

Shuttle Launches From Vandenberg & V.P. Reveal America's Secret Space Program, and CIA Exposes Russians verses Aliens

By Bill Knell

The USA Space Shuttle program performed 135 missions from 1981 to 2011. During that time there were 11 acknowledged secret missions. Most involved the deployment of spy satellites. However, like all information that originates from NASA, these were just the tip of the iceberg and lacked the entire story of secrecy and deception.

In the early 1990s I became aware of several key facts about the Space Shuttle that were unknown to the public. My information came from an impeccable source; that being a technical writer well established in the government contractor community who helped write the massive guide (manual) for the first test shuttle named Enterprise. He has provided me with other reliable tidbits of intel which have proven to be correct.

First and foremost, there were not-so-secret Shuttle launches from Vandenberg Air Force Base, now Vandenberg Space Force Base (name change 2021), a U.S. Military installation in Santa Barbara County, California. Thanks to my source I learned that, apart from NASA, there was another agency called the United States Space Program. NASA separated from it in 1958, but the original agency continued on. Vandenberg became the primary launch site for the U.S. Space Program, operated by the U.S. Air Force, which hosted Shuttle launches.

If you ask Google if there were ever any shuttle launches from Vandenberg AFB, this is the response you get… “No Space Shuttle launches ever occurred from Vandenberg Air Force Base (now Vandenberg Space Force Base). The program was canceled after the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster in 1986.”

Apart from the photos (below) of the Space Shuttle on the launch pad at Vandenberg, we have the eyewitness testimony of many who saw those launches. It's not like they are easy to hide. Note the mountains in the background. There are none in Florida, so it's not an altered photo of the primary NASA space center.

The U.S. Space Program has always hid in plain sight. No one talked about it, but most high up in the government knew. During the George H.W. Bush presidency (1989-1993) a major crack in the secrecy wall occurred when Vice President Dan Quayle offered up an unexpected answer to a silly question. At some point during an impromptu Q&A at an Iowa stop for lunch, someone asked him what he was doing lately (mocking the fact that VPs don't have much to do)? He answered that he was “busy with the Space Program”. The questioner added, “NASA?” He simply replied, “The Space Program.” After that exchange Quayle was escorted out of the restaurant.

I knew about that incident because I happened to be in Iowa at the time for a college speaking engagement. I heard it mentioned on the local TV news and a radio show. It was covered by the news as a way to mock him for yet another verbal blunder, but it wasn't a mistake and (as usual) they missed the more important point. After that, it disappeared from news reports like it never happened.

I discovered that there really was a U.S. Space Program and every vice president since Richard Nixon had been in charge of it. That info was confirmed by my tech community friend and some of his associates, but just try and confirm it today. Official sources won't deny it, they just will not provide information about it. Given what I know and have been told, the U.S. Space Program combined with the U.S. Space Force upon its creation. Technically, it always was a defensive program run by the Air Force so the change was natural and expected.

Another Space Shuttle secret, and one that really floored me when I found out about it, was that the Shuttle has a weapons system on board. It partly consists of lasers and a radar transmitter designed to broadcast a frequency used in the past to disable UFO power sources. This information comes from my tech sources and, given their record, I have no reason to doubt it. If the information is verified the cover story will be that the system was being used as a “cleaning” tool to destroy old space junk. Large objects were reduced to small ones which burned up in the atmosphere. Among the classified shuttle “military missions”, we now know that some involved the deployment of “intelligence-gathering satellites with radar capabilities.”

Most people have no idea of the push-pull that went on during the development of the Orbiter. Agencies like the ultra-secret National Reconnaissance Office pressured to have the Shuttle built to satisfy their secret satellite needs. According to my sources there were up to sixteen government agencies involved in its design. Even today, it would be practically impossible to understand the intricacies and eccentricities of the Orbiter. That's because you would have to know all the secrets that NASA and the U.S. Space Force are hiding about their programs and those nemesis’ that space vehicles face.

Consider what happened with the Russian Mir space.station. During a 1998 docking with the U.S. space shuttle Endeavour, astronauts spotted a "blobby object" that briefly caused some sort of malfunction with some of the Mir's on board technology.

In the early 1990s Russian cosmonaut Musa Manarov filmed a luminous object around Mir which first attached, then detached from the station.

NASA astronaut Jerry Linenger reported seeing various unidentified objects while aboard the Mir space station. He described metallic-looking objects that defied easy identification and could not be dismissed as satellites or ice chunks.

Our CIA and former government officials turned whistle-blowers believe the Russians may have stepped over the line in terms of Human-Alien relations, which eventually led to the decommission and closure of the Mir in 2001. Here are some examples of Russian Alien encounters officially reported by the CIA and others…

In 1989 Schoolchildren and others in Voronezh, Russia, reported seeing aliens disembark from a large, glowing ball. The official news agency TASS ran a story on the incident, insisting it was not a hoax.

Months before I investigated a similar UFO landing in New York City. In 1989 a NYC bus filled with passengers drove past Kissena Park in Flushing, Queens, New York City on its regular route along a street bordering the park. As it passed an area by the east side of the small lake ,the driver and bus riders saw a bright glow on the other side of the lake which attracted their attention. The driver stopped the bus thinking he was about to witness a helicopter crash. Instead, everyone on the bus saw a circular object, about thirty feet in diameter, with odd lights landing by a large tree. Although no sound was heard, after a short time the object took off brushing the branches of the tree. Later, that tree started to die on the side that made contact with the object. It should also be noted that the grass died in a circular pattern where the object landed. Odd, rock-like material was found in the circle and nowhere else in the park. Street lamps surround the lake. Those directly in front of the affected tree and circular area were highly magnetized for no apparent reason.

A declassified CIA report details a 1990 KGB file about an alleged encounter in which 23 Soviet soldiers were turned to stone pillars after a surface-to-air missile shot down a UFO. The report claims that five humanoids emerged from the wreckage, merged into a glowing orb, and petrified the soldiers with a flash of light.

In 1982 Russian navy divers in Siberia's Lake Baikal reportedly encountered mysterious, silvery-suited humanoids while underwater. Three divers were allegedly killed and four seriously injured trying to capture them.

A congressional witness claimed in 2023 that UFOs appeared over a Russian intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) base in October 1982. He stated that the UFOs took control of the launch system and nearly triggered a nuclear launch before disappearing.

In 2001 the Mir space station was decommissioned. The primary reason given was its age. It was 15 years old, originally built to operate for 10 years. However, that's only part of the story. After the fall of the Soviet Union many of their once secretive alien encounters became known to the public.

I was extremely fortunate to meet and interview Marina Popovich in NYC in 1991. She was speaking at the Whole Life Expo which I attended giving and getting video interviews. Marina was a Soviet Air Forces colonel, cosmonaut, engineer, and decorated Soviet test pilot. In 1964, she became the third woman and the first Soviet woman to break the sound barrier. Known as "Madame MiG", for her work in the Soviet fighter, she set more than 100 aviation world records in over 40 types of aircraft over her career.

Marina told me that Soviet military and civilian pilots had confirmed 3,000+ UFO sightings, and that the Soviet Air Force and KGB had recovered fragments of five UFOs from sites at Tunguska, Novosibirsk, Tallinn, Ordzhonikidze and Dalnegorsk. Marina also said that she believed there was a “contentious relationship" between aliens and the Russian military because of provocative actions against them ordered by Soviet authorities.

During the late 1990s Cosmonauts aboard the Mir reported regular harassment by unknown entities. Incidents included the sudden appearance of unknown spacecraft near the space station and odd knocking sounds heard on its outside structure. On at least two occasions alarms went off for no good reason and radio communications failed whenever brightly lit, large orbs appeared outside the Mir.

Between its age and these troubling UFO incidents few cosmonauts were anxious to join the party. The Mir was deorbited and burned up over the Pacific Ocean. To date 271 former Soviet and Russian pilots and cosmonauts have come forward to admit and explain their in-flight UFO sightings and encounters.
