SELF DOUBT Is Their Friend and Your Enemy
Self Doubt Is Their Friend and Your Enemy

Whether you are an employee or self employed, your competition's best weapon is your self doubt. The same is true when it comes to all your relationships in life.
In a day of feel good mental therapies and happy talk advice posts, most practitioners and influencers tend to ignore the root cause of many problems and controversies in our lives. Self doubt can keep you from success in all you do. It can also be deadly.
More people are taking their own lives today than ever before. That's because they have been brain washed by those who rule over public education. It's more important for Intellectualized educators to teach you about things like environmental concerns and social justice than to provide you with the basic everyday skills and positive outlook you need to succeed.
When I went to school it was always about learning the ways that society has failed because people do not follow the “new think” rules of intellectuals. These rules always embrace new and often unusual ideals that go against what was once thought of as the norm.
This type of thinking confuses, and even angers, people to the extent that they no longer are as concerned about their own well being as they are about societal ills. Those ills are, of course, defined for us by the intellectuals who leave little room for individual thoughts or considerations.
This “one size fits all” philosophy can lead to self doubt because people believe they are not fitting into their peer group's idea of right and wrong, good and evil, acceptable and unacceptable. This is where bullies get their power over others.
Bullying has become the primary cause of suicide among young children. Just this week a nine year old Colorado boy killed himself after what his mother said was constant bullying by his schoolmates over a two year period. Statistics back this up…
“Encounters for SI and SA at US children's hospitals increased steadily from 2008 to 2023 and accounted for an increasing percentage of all hospital encounters.” - CNN
As odd as it may seem, Self Doubt is the root cause of most of these situations. Self Doubt leads to the inability to deal with both the criticism and competition of others. It knocks us down instead of building us up. Fortunately, there are ways to overcome this problem.
Some Psychologists have begun to recognize this problem as very serious and offer this advice…
“To overcome self-doubt, focus on cultivating self-compassion, practicing positive self-talk, and building confidence through achieving goals and celebrating successes. Remember your past achievements, avoid comparing yourself to others, and surround yourself with supportive people.” - Self Help Journal
The problem among children is more complicated because their scholastic environment often fails to recognize bullying and deal with it. They claim to have “zero tolerance” policies regarding bullying, but fail to investigate or take action when incidents are reported. Parents of bullies should be held as accountable for their child's behavior as they are for absences or abuse.
It's important to remember what early computer pioneers said could ruin any program…
“Garbage in, Garbage out.”
If you find yourself constantly surrounded by negativity by choice or otherwise, you must make changes for you own well being. If that isn't possible, or either way, learn to intellectually fight back. When they point at you, point back. Carry a small mirror to confront those who cause your self doubt and stuck it in their face so they can look at and confront their own shortcomings before they point out yours.
