Important UFO Photographic Evidence Cases
Important UFO Photographic Evidence Cases

What is today known as the modern nation of TURKEY (Türkiye) is a land that features prominently in the ancient and modern world of human history, culture, science and includes its connection to the world of the unexplained and UFOs. The Kumburgaz UFO case is a prime example.
UFOs were filmed by night watchman Yalcin Yalman in Kumburgaz, Turkey between 2007 and 2009. The footage is considered some of the most notable UFO evidence captured on camera and has been the subject of extensive debate. Yalman used a video camera to record the objects on 23 separate occasions over the course of three summers, starting in 2007. The UFOs appeared during early morning hours near the shore of the Marmara Sea. The footage was released to the Turkish Sirius UFO Research Group, led by Haktan Akdogan.
The footage appears to show disc or diamond shaped objects hovering above the sea. Some clips were analyzed by experts who claimed to see what looked like a cockpit and potential "humanoid beings" inside the craft. And its not just Yalman. One thing that gives verification to his photos are the many eyewitnesses who have been vetted and interviewed on numerous occasions.
The material was sent to Turkey's National Council for the Study of Science and Technology for analysis. None of the organizations involved could find evidence of a hoax or video tampering, and the phenomena were classified as genuine Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP). The Turkish government determined that the objects were not related to any known military aircraft or programs. A national observatory report also analyzed the evidence deciding the photos were of unexplained phenomenon.
A UFO similar to the type in the Turkey case is the Calvine UFO, a sighting and photo case near the hamlet of Calvine in Perthshire, Scotland in August 1990.
The sighting was originally reported to the Daily Record, a Glasgow-based tabloid newspaper, by two men who claimed that they witnessed an unknown diamond-shaped craft while walking on the moors above Calvine on the evening of August 4, 1990. They reported seeking shelter under some nearby trees from where they watched the craft, taking photographs while it hovered silently above before ascending vertically and disappearing from view.
The two witnesses later told their story to the Daily Record and handed over their prints and original negatives, which were later passed on to the Ministry of Defence (MOD). The original negatives and prints subsequently disappeared and the story was never published by the Daily Record. The identity of the witnesses remains unknown despite efforts to locate them by a team of researchers led by investigative journalist David Clarke.
Reports of the sighting and rumours of the photograph gradually surfaced, and the case slowly gained public interest. Partial documentation included in Ministry of Defence documents released by The National Archives in 2009 helped provide further insight into the sighting and attracted more attention. This ultimately led to the discovery of an original photographic image of the UFO which was subsequently published in the British-based newspaper the Daily Mail in 2022. The publication of the image led to significant media coverage which has been maintained through subsequent stories, with news outlets leading their coverage with headlines describing the Calvine photograph as "the best UFO picture ever".
For years orange, white and multicolored ‘ball of light type’ UFOs have been constant and unexplained visitors in the sky, on the ground and underwater. These tend to be huge and easily differentiated from traditional aircraft types and drones. Some from the size of a quarter to the size of a basketball appear inside structures. In the time before such commonalities were known people commonly called these ‘ghost lights’ assuming they had an association with the spiritual. Sometimes it's difficult to tell either way. One certainty is that according to Enigma, a place where people can report UFOs online, sightings of all types of UFOs are up by a significant margin with the states having the most being California, Florida and Washington.
A recent UFO sighting and video case occurred in Nevada on May 31, 2024. TMZ reported that a woman named Katrina and some friends were enjoying a night out in Henderson, near Las Vegas, when something extraordinary caught their attention. At around 10 p.m., they spotted a bright round light in the sky. In recent years large orbs have been some of the best photographed and videoed UFOs. Video acquired by TMZ shows this mysterious object moving in a diagonal pattern before shifting up and down. At one point, a plane zooms past and there were other witnesses as well.
People have become so brainwashed regarding the unreality of UFOs and aliens that when they have a major sighting or encounter one they almost immediately attempt to ignore or provide a conventional explanation. Just how governments like it.
