SHOCKING Submerged “FAST MOVERS”

SHOCKING Submerged “FAST MOVERS”

by Bill Knell

USO sightings are on the rise in a disturbing way, but reports of Unidentified Submerged Objects is nothing new. In 1492, explorer Christopher Columbus reported seeing a glowing light in the water from the deck of his flag ship, the Santa Maria. It moved up and out of the water, stayed at deck level, then back under the water just as seamlessly.

At the time Columbus was stuck in the doldrums of the Sargasso Sea, an area in the North Atlantic Ocean known for vast floating mats of sargassum seaweed. With a shortage of wind for his sails and running low on supplies, the crew was on the verge of mutiny. When they saw the strange light they took it as a good omen. This occurred in the Bermuda Triangle, an ocean area forming a triangle between Bermuda, Miami (Florida), and Puerto Rico known for unexplained phenomena, as well as the disappearances of ships, planes and people.

Over the past five years thousands of USOs have been reported by civilians, boat crews and the military in U.S. waterways. That is a significant uptick from previous years and one which is of great concern to the U.S. Navy. Beginning several years ago they began asking pilots and ship crews to file reports of all UAP and USO sightings and encounters. Pentagon-reviewed footage has documented instances of unidentified craft diving into or emerging from the water without damaging the vessel or even making a splash, prompting alarm from military officials.

Marine Technology News reports thousands of USO sightings have occurred within ten miles of U.S. shorelines. Many within five miles of shore have been described as objects moving underwater, rising to the surface, then descending back into waterways. U.S. States with the most reported USO sightings are California and Florida, both among U.S. states with the most ocean coastlines. One report includes phone camera video of unexplained green lights traveling beneath the surface of the ocean.

Retired Navy Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet warns UFOs with the ability to go from air to sea without crashing or even creating a splash could have “world-changing” ramifications.

“The fact that unidentified objects with unexplainable characteristics are entering US water space and the DOD is not raising a giant red flag is a sign that the government is not sharing all it knows about all-domain anomalous phenomena,” Gallaudet wrote in a March 2024 report.

Alarm bells were raised in July 2019, when the USS Omaha recorded a UAP/USO that vanished into the ocean without a trace after buzzing a Navy fleet off the coast of San Diego. Video of the incident was verified by the Pentagon, displaying capabilities Gallaudet said “jeopardizes U.S. maritime security, which is already weakened by our relative ignorance about the global ocean.” In his 29-page report for the Sol Foundation think tank, Gallaudet said there’s a documented pattern of similar phenomena being reported. “Pilots, credible observers and calibrated military instrumentation have recorded objects accelerating at rates and crossing the air–sea interface in ways not possible for anything made by humans,” he wrote.

It's not surprising that Submarines have also reported significant USO activities. They have observed high-speed underwater objects, unexplained sonar readings, and a recent incident where a U.S. submarine recorded a craft entering the ocean. More well known is the encounter by the USS Trepang which occurred in the arctic in March of 1971. Details are few because the sub was on classified cold war duty, but several photos, including images of a cigar-shaped object emerging from the water and others taken from a periscope, have been leaked.

After the USO incident, the USS Trepang became of great interest to the Soviets who actually tried to steal it in 1978 long after the sub had been decommissioned (according to FBI files).

The Soviets have had their own encounters with USOs. In 1982 military divers reported encountering humanoid beings in silver suits at a depth of over 160 feet in Lake Baikal. During an attempt to capture the beings, three divers died and four others were injured by an unknown force. Another 1980s event occurred at an unspecified location. A Soviet nuclear submarine detected and was pursued by six unknown underwater objects. The captain was forced to surface, at which point the objects flew out of the water at high speeds. Soviet Admiral Vladimir Chernavin, the former Commander-in-Chief of the Soviet Navy, spoke of numerous unclassified reports of naval encounters with USOs. He referred to them as "fast movers" because they moved at speeds far exceeding anything known to be human-made.

UAP sightings are also on the rise. The only difference from before is that some people have seen and photographed aliens in or near landed objects. Skeptics are quick to yell “AI”, but well trained and experienced photographic experts can spot the difference. The fact that many phone cameras can now take excellent photos should be considered in any “too good to be true” scenario.

Some have made drone sightings their “go to” answer for UAP sightings. In many cases they may be correct, but we have to consider the size, object creation possibilities using available technologies, and expense of drones capable of producing the nighttime effects needed to duplicate UAP actions, speed and illuminations. You also have to remember that those types of lights were seen long before the age of drones and digital effects as in the case of the “Westchester Wing” and circular lights in the Hudson Valley, N.Y. incidents.
